Couldn't Recommend Enough

Sunday, October 02, 2016

My boyfriend and I spent a few nights here to celebrate our first anniversary because it looked interesting in a guidebook we had. The hotel blew us away. The rooms are quirky and the vibe is lovely. The owners are so nice and helpful as well. I would definitely come back. Cannot recommend it here highly enough!

Unique

This was such a great place to stay. The Long Loft Room was so charming with exposed brick, tile around the mirror in the bathroom, and all kinds of art on the shelves and walls of our room and the entire house.

Tops in the Town

This was my second visit to the b&b and yet again an excellent one. The ambiance, the welcome and the cosy bedroom will insure that I and my two other travel companions will be back. Breakfast in the Bastion Kitchen was equally as pleasurable and is just across the street.

A Wonderful Place to Stay

Thursday, September 03, 2015

The brothers who run this charming bed and breakfast are full of interesting and helpful information, and will go out of their way to make your dtay a pleasant one. The environment is completely beautiful, with objets d'art and whimsical found art in every corner tastefully placed; the total effect is of a wonderful, comfortable, fully furnished magic place wherein one can refresh and restore the mind and spirit while visiting the charming town of Athlone. Bastion B&B gets all "A"s in every category.
